The jewelry expo sounds awesome. I know that kinds of "overwhelmed by trinkets and pretties" thing. There's this store in downtown LaX called "The Silver Hideout." It's run by these two older hippie guys and it has every piece of jewelry/stone/leather/silver that you could ever possibly want. Going in there is like a sensory overload, let alone trying to buy something. But maybe I could try to find something that my lovely Linda would be amused by. I'll keep my eyes open.

I'm not much into shiny stones, though I do love my amber ring and will one day own a piece with lapis lazuli. That expo certainly sounded wonderful!
