As for the lazy girls, since you're going through a temp agency, I'd recommned covering your end by telling your agent what is happening. That way, if after x time they choose to not hire you on permanantly because you're "not doing your job" this will be on file as to what's going on. Also, if you haven't already, take it up with your supervisor at the plant. Just in case.
