The Ohio Wildlife Center is up off of Sawmill Road. They do wildife rescure around here. They're looking for volunteers and are having a volunteer orientation on Oct. 17th from 7:30-9:30. It might be a good place to start and see what this is all about.

Another site to check out is Back to the Wild. I got to visit there this summer. It's in Castalia. this lady strted out as a volunteer at Old Woman Creek and has built her own wildlife rehab center from the ground up on her own. She does it all on donations because ODNR won't pay her or give her any help. She is very impressive. It's another good place to visit if you get the chance. Call in advance though.
